I stayed here one night while I was walking St Cuthbert’s way. A very comfortable room in a charming village. The hotel has been under new management This year. Walking St Cuthberts Way
The owners and staff could not be more helpful and lovely.   Let us have our room early as we were exhausted. Rooms are beautiful, exceptionally clean and comfy beds. The best shower we’ve had on our journey so far.

There are finds you know you will return to and this is certainly a must return to as well as a real find.

Fabulous rooms, great meals, and the service was superb. Justin and Mercyline were the best of hosts along with staff from the community team. Atmosphere is warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We and the dog were welcomed with open arms. We will definitely be back.
